• “Zoom In” enlarges the picture by a factor of 2. Use it repeatedly for factors 4, 8, ….The top left corner of the window will stay fixed.
• “Zoom Out” reduces the picture by a factor of 2. Use it repeatedly for factors 4, 8, ….The top left corner of the window will stay fixed, if possible.
If the page becomes smaller than the window, the window will shrink. This may cause the window to disappear from the screen. It can be recovered by typing 'command Q'.
• “1-1” returns the picture to its original size.
• The last two menu items allow to specify other zoom factors, independently for the horizontal and vertical direction.
Their names give the presently active factors.
